One trend that’s essentially an investment in the season after next is the casual, padded quilted jacket with a hood. Few jackets are as versatile and easy to style as this timeless and lightweight transitional piece. It features a high stand-up collar that transitions into a hood, a sturdy metal zipper with a lined storm flap, slit pockets, classic cuffs, and a rounded hem. The jacket is considered the “perfect match” for jeans, T-shirts, sweaters, and boots, and is presented here in a cool, updated design. The recycled polyester insulation is our alternative to down. It offers excellent heat retention, is moisture-resistant, and has a soft, springy feel. The matte-sheen outer fabric is also made from recycled polyester. Since 2018, we have consciously avoided the use of PFAS-based water-repellent treatments and finishes.
