Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Wardrobe collects when you use the wardrobe.am website and the Wardrobe app for iOS and Android, why we collect it, who we share it with and what choices you have. “Wardrobe”, “we” and “us” mean the team that runs the service.

1. What Wardrobe does

Wardrobe compares the prices of fashion brands’ products across their official online stores in different countries and lets you know when a price drops or a size is back in stock. You buy products on the stores’ own websites: Wardrobe doesn’t sell anything itself. If we add new services that need other data, we will update this policy before they launch.

2. Data we collect

Your account. When you create an account, we receive your email address, name and password; if you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us instead. Only our sign-in service keeps the password, and only in a form that can’t be turned back into it, so nobody, including us, can read it. In your personal details you can also add your phone number, gender and date of birth. We also keep the language you use Wardrobe in, so that our emails come in it too.

What you save and publish. Your wishlist, collections and price alerts (the product, sizes and countries you watch) and, if you join Wardrobe Creator, your creator profile: username, display name, bio and social links.

Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address and gender. You don’t need an account for this.

What you view and search for. Your recently viewed products and collections: on your device and, when you are signed in, in your account too, so the list follows you to your other devices. We also count how often each product and collection is viewed; these totals aren’t linked to you. Your search terms are sent to us to find results, while your recent searches stay on your device.

Technical data. Your IP address, browser and device type, and error reports. We use the IP address to protect Wardrobe from abuse (for example, too many requests from one address) and to count a guest’s view only once. For your security, your sign-in sessions keep the device and IP address they were started from, and we record when you last signed in and last used Wardrobe.

Website analytics. On the website, analytics services record how pages are used, including recordings of what you do on a page, with what you type hidden. See the Cookie Policy. The app doesn’t use analytics services.

3. How we use it

  • to run your account and the features you use: the wishlist, collections, price alerts and creator pages;
  • to send the emails you ask for: price and availability alerts, account emails (such as confirming your email address or resetting your password) and, if you subscribed, the newsletter;
  • to remember your language, currency and department, and to show your recently viewed products first;
  • to keep Wardrobe secure and prevent abuse;
  • to find and fix errors, and to understand how Wardrobe is used so we can improve it;
  • to meet our legal obligations.

We don’t sell your personal data.

4. Legal basis

We use your data to provide the service you signed up for; with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (for example, for the newsletter or cookies); for our legitimate interest in keeping Wardrobe secure and making it better; and where the law requires it. We process personal data in line with the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Protection of Personal Data.

5. Who we share it with

Service providers that help us run Wardrobe (hosting, sending emails, error monitoring and analytics) and may use the data only for that.

Other people see what you publish: your creator profile and “public” collections are visible to everyone, and “unlisted” ones to anyone with the link. Your “private” collections, wishlist and price alerts are visible only to you.

Stores. When you open a product on a store’s website, you leave Wardrobe, and that store’s privacy policy applies. We don’t pass your account data to stores or delivery companies. Product photos load directly from the brands’ servers, which can see your IP address.

Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and of Wardrobe.

If Wardrobe passes to another organization, for example a company set up to run it, your data will pass with it, and this policy will continue to apply.

6. Where it is processed

We and our service providers may store and process your data outside Armenia. We only work with providers that commit to protecting it.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. Account data stays while your account exists, newsletter data until you unsubscribe, and technical data only as long as security and troubleshooting need it. A deleted account can be restored by signing in again within 7 days; after that, it is deleted for good with everything saved in it, and after a limited time deleted data also disappears from our backups. Data kept on your device stays there until you clear it or delete the app.

8. Your rights

You can see and correct your personal details in your account, and delete your account on the Sign-in & security page. You can delete your price alerts and unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time; after unsubscribing, you still receive emails about your account and the price alerts you set. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or limit how we use it, or withdraw your consent: write to support@wardrobe.am.

9. Security

We protect your data with encrypted connections, passwords that can’t be read back and access limited to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and will act quickly if something goes wrong.

10. Children

Wardrobe isn’t meant for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We publish every change on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If a change is significant, we will tell you on the website, in the app or by email.
